Privacy Policy — Waddle

Last updated: July 18, 2026

Waddle keeps everything you create on your own device. The one exception is two optional AI helpers: with your permission, and only then, they send the text you type into them to an AI service — explained below.

Waddle (“the app”, “we”) is a gentle routine app for ADHD adults. This policy explains — plainly — how the app handles your information.

Data we collect

None. Waddle has no user accounts, no login, no analytics, and no ads. Your routines, penguin, gold, and progress are saved only in your device’s local storage. We cannot see them, and they are never uploaded anywhere.

Optional AI features

Two features can use AI, and both are off until you say yes inside the app:

What is sent: only the text you type into those two places. No name, no email, no device identifiers, and nothing else from your phone — your routines, progress, and penguin never leave the device.

Where it goes: the text travels, over an encrypted connection, through Waddle’s own small relay server (hosted on Vercel) to Anthropic’s Claude AI, which produces the task list or routine. The relay exists so the app never carries an API key; it does not log or store your text.

How long it is kept: we store nothing. Anthropic processes the text to generate the response and does not use it to train its models; it is handled under Anthropic’s privacy policy.

Your choice, always: the app asks before the first time any text is sent, and you can change your answer anytime with the ✨ button on the home screen. If you decline, both features simply run on your device instead — nothing is lost.

Data we share

Nothing, except the optional AI text above — and only after you’ve given permission. We never sell data, and there is no advertising or tracking of any kind.

Purchases

If you choose to buy Waddle Plus, the payment is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see your card details. The stores may process the transaction under their own privacy policies: Apple · Google.

Sharing your own progress

When you tap “Share card”, the app creates an image on your device and hands it to your phone’s normal share sheet. What you do with that image — send it to a friend, post it, or not — is entirely your choice. Waddle is not involved after the image is made.

Children

Waddle is designed for a general audience and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated date at the top will change too. Since the app collects nothing, we don’t expect major changes.
